As an entrepreneur, you have a lot on your plate. Staying focused can be tough with a constant stream of employees, clients, emails, and phone calls demanding your attention.
Amid the noise, understanding your brain’s limitations and working around them can improve your focus and increase yourproductivity.
Our brains are finely attuned to distraction, so today's digital environment makes it especially hard to focus.
For once in my life I didn't have a plan. Well, I had a plan... I just wasn't 100% set on it. My maternity leave was fast approaching and while I loved the company I was working for I was also deeply in love with my coaching practice.
I easily juggled working at this amazing company while managing my own business for years... but had a little inkling something had to give once I had a baby.

With thoughts, plans, ideas, worries, schedules and expectations flying every which way I decided to stop contributing to the already heaping pile of third trimester stress. I decided to just go with the flow.

Pushing my daughter around the mall and having people comment 'She's so cute! Is she yours, or... ?' You would never think to ask a middle aged woman if that baby she's holding is hers or not! Not only is it none of your business, but you are in fact being super rude. I know I'm young. Get over it.
2. "Where's your baby daddy?"

If there is one thing common to all moms, it is the fact that we all want our kids to be successful. The success of our kids is the desire of any normal parent. It is not enough that we wish and pray for their success. You need to help your kids become successful. You need to teach them how to become successful. As I always say, when teaching a child you need to start them young.
